PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Developing performing skills is an important aspect of the curriculum. Students are encouraged to perform for family members and friends from the very first lesson. Performing strategies are discussed in private lessons and group classes. The studio presents a formal recital each year in the spring. Students may be invited to participate in additional festivals, recitals, and assessments sponsored by the Kansas City Music Teachers Association. KCMTA performance opportunities include the Fall Festival, Holiday Program, Master Lessons, Concerto Competition, Multi-Piano Concert, Music Progressions, and Achievement Auditions.
