- Printable Flashcards: Making Music Fun has printable flash cards for practicing treble clef and bass clef note names.
- Printable Staff Paper: Blank Sheet Music allows you to customize the size and layout of your free staff paper.
MUSIC APPS
- Tempo: A metronome app.
- Rhythm Cat: A fun app for practicing rhythms. There is a free version with 15 levels that is great for beginning students. More advanced students may enjoy the full version.
- Flashnote Derby: A flash card app with a horse derby them. It allows you to select which notes in the bass clef or treble clef you would like to practice, making it great for beginning and more experienced students.
- Garage Band: A professional app for composing and recording your own songs.
- Young Music Genius: An app that introduces instruments and composers.
LOCAL MUSIC STORES
- Luyben Music: A great place to go for sheet music. They have an entire room devoted to piano music. A lot of the piano music is behind the counter, but the staff will help you locate what you need.
- Meyer Music: They sell new and used pianos and are the Yamaha dealer in the area. They also sell sheet music and rent band instruments.
- Schmitt Music: They are the Steinway and Kawai piano dealers in the area. They have a fantastic recital space that can be rented. We will have our studio recital here.
